If you need to run several operating systems on the same PC, OS Selector 5 will handle the set up and switching with a minimum of fuss. Most of us are happy to pick an operating system that runs the software we want, install it and live with that choice until we upgrade. For those who want to run more than one, either out of curiosity or necessity--program developers, support and training staff, for instance--there's OS Selector. OS Selector 5.0 Deluxe is part hard drive partition manager and part boot manager. To install and use two or more different operating systems, you first use the partition manager to set up separate partitions for each operating system. You don't have to reformat your hard drive to do this, because like PowerQuest's Partition Manager, OS Selector can do it without disturbing existing data. |
