Gas Burners offer instant visible heat which is adjustable and controllable at all settings. Gas hobs can accommodate most pans - up to 230mm (9") in diameter including flat based woks. Due to more individual parts, the cleaning of a gas hob can take longer than the electric varieties. Where we use the term twin cavity, the smaller upper cavity is just a grill and the larger main cavity is just an oven. This gives greater flexibility over single ovens where you cant grill and roast at the same time. In our Gas Zoned Ovens the burner is within the cavity, which gives a zoned, heated area unlike most imported products. This means the oven is hottest at the top, and coolest at the bottom e.g. if top shelf is 210°C, the bottom shelf will be 140°C giving the opportunity to cook foods which require different temperatures at the same time. |
