It's time to promote the microwave oven from the lowly pizza defroster to an appliance of equal stature in the kitchen. After all it morphed into a compact microwave and a mini microwave for our convenience. It even became a convection microwave in a bid to become more of the family. I know we are all still a little scared from that first attempt slightly pink chicken but things have moved on. The full Sunday roast beckons. Come on you know the book says it can do it.
